Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement (Furniture, Mattress, or Textile Ind. experience is a plus)
• Experience in contract manufacturing operations and finished product sourcing,
• Experience in leading negotiations with suppliers in a challenging environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English,
• Experience in team management,
• Open for flexible working hours. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for diverse categories that deliver the best total value (cost, quality, service, innovation, and sustainability).
• Lead procurement team in finding and developing alternative suppliers
• Be able to gather internal and external data, benchmark and competitive analysis, to influence the business decision.
• Close collaboration with the Planning, Production, Research & Development Teams,
• Actively lead New Product Sourcing processes,
• Actively lead loss analysis and savings projects internally and externally.
• Forecasting materials cost for annual budget setting and quarterly business updates, as required,
• Monitoring, measuring and managing supplier performance
• Make positive contributions to ensure team culture continues to be inclusive and high performing
